i really want the tabs.

Thanks, Danny as always your musical IQ is unsurpassed. I’ve been searching for this for a while. This is the first lesson. I found that outlines clearly which diminished inversion to play over which part of the 12 bar or jazz blues.
Good teacher
Great video editing
Thanks Joe!
This video got shadowbanned or something wtf less than 1k views
This video gave me the keys to the kit car Lamborghini
I love these vids. For minor pentatonic, I love adding harmonic minor embellishments. Especially on the resolution
This sounds great! I’m still playing around with my Henriksen settings with my archtop. How do you EQ yours? Beautiful tone.
@@brianfmojica pretty flat honestly. For gypsy jazz I roll off the bass and low mids to avoid feedback
I've been drilling this stuff a fair bit having just gotten an S-type vibrato guitar again, this was super-helpful to remind myself of certain things about scooping and fluttering when the arm is forward. Thanks Marbin! 😃 (nah but seriously this really, really does help lol)
Some times I wonder why I pay jazz school if this guy is better teacher than most of "professors"
Excellent, practical, guitar friendly explanation of the diminished sound and application!
I like Sheryl Bailey on guitar. She's skilled at improvisation. One of those players who can create there own melodies. ruclips.net/video/gc_XO7Xdz3M/видео.htmlsi=OWa9aVCq8i2iFCFo
What a fantastic video have a wonderful day also RIP to jeff beck ❤😢
When I met you.. you told your bass player.. something like.. if it’s slow guitar work it has to be Jeff Beck. Is that still the case?
@@karls.623 yup
Considering the amount of wear on your guitar I expected to see you really hitting that thing a lot harder. Don't hold back man, hit that thing the way you would on world tour. Maybe the sound was so harsh because you weren't playing with your usual aggression?
❤
Telling yourself that you don't have the time (90+20 minutes or 'any schedule on a daily basis') is pointing out the lack of priority, I think this is the biggest reason why so many people don't develop much. We won't wake up one day and suddenly are at the point of skills that we always dreamed of...
Popped it in the basket, ready for my next delivery. Easy peasy. “Mr. Jeff Beck - Author/Editor” according to the Amazon blurb!? 🤯👍
Oh no
Amazing video as always. I gotta say it again though that tone is rough lol
It really is! Sorry
Amazing videos with good quality I wish they had more views and comments, because you are so down to earth That aside the tone in this video was a tad rough
Blow by Blow was my gateway phase - just a LP with a couple of PAF's. His Stratocaster stuff just amazes me 🎶
נהדר! אהבתי מאוד
That part of “just go for it” and teenagers being delusional really hit home for me. I was playing technical difficulties by month 9 of playing. It wasn’t great but I believed I could do it, and that delusion is why I learned to shred. Plus amazing teaching from Troy Grady
definitly will get a copy :)
That's some amazing playing and it def sounds like Jeff Beck.
brilliant bro, thanks so much
Great video, but have you ever thought about doing the Hammer on From Nowhere on the top string and also on the bottom string (Hammer on at A string, picking at D string and hammer o n at G string, for example) ? Pat Metheny does it all the time.
Congrats on being published. Still struggling through Jazz Chord Mastery (jazz chord bastardry) by Scott Henderson. And the John McLaughlin DVD. Your tome might be more fun.
That sounds like shit. Its not even a matter of taste, its just an objective truth that your guitar playing sounds boring and you think too highly of yourself, bad musician traits
You are a virtuoso in gypsy jazz and Jeff's style. Do you have chops in blues rhythm guitar?
I love Jeff Beck and I love music analysis videos! Thank you!
Congratulations on not editing the nausea into the video! This one was actually watchable! Congrats!
I have a new book! Should I buy a guitar? Nah, I have 6... Yeah! I only have 6!
Dani.. does the new book include GP Files?
@@bjmkds I think so. If not I can send them to you if you email us. Still got them on my laptop
Hey cool! Good job! Sounds wonderful. Can't hurt to pick up a little Jeff spirit. You explain and break it down well for people
Killer! Love it!!!
your other video on Jeff Beck was one of my favorite. Really happy that you wrote a whole book about it. I just ordered my copy! Thanks!
Man thanks for this! You are an excellent teacher. You make it look easy but it is definitely not.
MARBIN, Doesn't Jeff Beck roll down the strat TONE control in the bridge position? to give a warmer tone
Most people do. He does as well
@@marbinmusic Jeff Becks strat had modified his wiring for the tone control to be used in the bridge pickup it seems
@@waynegram8907 all Suhrs have that
@@marbinmusic yes but Jeff Beck used Fender strats so he must have had his tech wire the tone pot to the bridge pickup. I know Eric Johnson and Rory Gallagher did this also
@@waynegram8907 yup I’m just saying that it’s very common these days because those guys did it back then
More Jeff Beck lessons please! All the Jeff Beck lessons! Thank you so much Marbin - Guy with Jeff Beck profile picture
